Biochar and its use in amending soil is an ancient Native American technique that has been around for over a thousand years. It is based on the observation that after a forest fire, the soil in the surrounding areas is richer, more fertile, and has more microbial activity. Earthshine blends Biochar with glacial rock dust, soybean meal, humic acid, and worm castings to create a complete soil rejuvenating product to bring new life to your garden.

To use Earthshine, simply mix it liberally into soil at a rate of 16 oz per 4 cu ft of media. For new soil, apply 8 oz per 4 cu ft. If your garden is established, top dress once every 4 weeks with 4 oz around the base of each plant and water thoroughly. For a compost tea accelerator, add 1 oz per 5 gallons of purified water and aerate for 6 hours, then apply to plants at the time of watering.
